Do You Like To Wrap Christmas Gifts?

I love going downstairs on Christmas Eve to wrap Christmas presents. I enjoy having our Christmas tree lights on and thinking about how each gift will be perceived and appreciated on Christmas morning. We always use our Longaberger cookie plate with matching tumbler to put Santa's cookies and milk in on the counter. Wrapping paper is still a traditional wrap here. Sometimes we put the grandparent's gifts in a nice bag with tissue paper, but I think kids always love ripping the paper off of the gift to unveil the surprise. Do you like to wrap Christmas gifts?

I LOVE to wrap Christmas gifts. I have moved my gifting operation to my work studio. I can work undisturbed away from prying eyes (the kids are all grown and moved out, but they didn't go very far. 2 of them live on the next 2 farms over), but DH has a very bad habit of discovering ALL his gifts every year!

I don't like to wrap gifts, I guess because there are so many and I do it, so it becomes a chore lol. I knew someone whose family made pretty draw string bags that they put their gifts in every year, then when family members were done, they returned them to the owner for next year. I thought that was interesting.

I hated wrapping gifts...It took a delivery van to carry all the presents I brought to where ever we were gathering....Every child of mine got 14 presents and then there were the inlaws grandchildren & greatgrandchildren...I no longer give gifts to them...Just the younger ones and they go in a bag...

They sell very cute bags at the Dollar Tree in town. We buy rolls and rolls of paper. When I volunteered at the elementary school, I would always give Longaberger gifts and put them in gift bags for the teachers. The bags are nice to recycle... Kids love ripping through the paper and shaking their presents before they open them. Sounds like you needed Santa and his sleigh with all of your gifts Sue! :) xox
