We had a wonderful camping trip at Ocean City. The weather was perfect, with the exception of a couple of sprinkles during the night... sunny and clear... I got a little burned the first day, even with sunblock, so I wore shorts and a tshirt the next few days and stayed under our beach umbrella watching the fun. I could sit and listen to the ocean and watch the waves forever... It is one of the most relaxing things to do. We ate one evening at a restaurant called Phillips. LET ME TELL YOU, that place was AWFUL! The reviews we read about it on the net were great. Much of what we ate, buffet, was frozen foods and it was overcooked... very disappointed, as McDonald's would have been better for 1/5th of the price. Glad we were camping so we could fix our own food the rest of the time. So, if someone is looking for a great spot in need of a delicious restaurant, maybe you should look into Ocean City...

Fabric Strips
We have been busy stripping fabric. The girls love to help with this project. We off many colors and lengths and love to combine shipping. Blue, green, burgundy gingham homespun are so pretty tied around candles, on sign hangers, pegs, door knobs, around gifts and on hang tags... They are an inexpensive way to dress up an item or package. Some artists use the fabric to make coasters, placemats and rugs.

She's Finished~~
I can't believe after weeks of working on her, she is finished. She is a beautiful handmade doll by me and one I won't mind keeping if she doesn't sell. Much time and love went into her. She is a "round head" and her face is handpainted on. Her hands are sculpted and painted, lightly sanded polish to look old... Her shoes are painted on and accented with rusty bells. I made her from a pattern by Prim and Proper Folks. I just listed her on eBay, so keeping my fingers and toes crossed others love her as much as I do...

Where is the SUMMER going?
Oh my time has flown by since I last popped on! We have taken another trip since our Pittsburgh trip. We went to Hershey for 4 days. Hershey KOA is our favorite campsite to go to thus far. We went to Hershey Park for a day, which we absolutely LOVE and enjoy... We rode over to Lancaster and Intercourse and took a ride in an Amish buggy. That was really fun and very enjoyable. Our driver, John, was very happy to answer questions. I sat behind him and the poor guy had to hear me rattle off a bazillion questions the whole trip. I learned about Shoofly Pie and saw their beautiful farms. We were driven through an active dairy farm. Many of the farmers in that area sell their milk to Land O Lakes. We spent the last day at camp at the pool much of the day. It was a very hot day and we got a thunderstorm that evening. We quickly put our camping items away and rolled the awning in. We watched PS I Love You and National Treasures. We are Netflix fans and took a couple of movies with us for evening enjoyment. We LOVED National Treasures and gave it 4 stars, however, PS I Love You was awful. We gave it a 1 and that's only because we couldn't give it a zero ROFL!!!! What's everyone else up to? Any vacations planned or taken?
