Englander Pellet Stove

We purchased this Englander Pellet Stove from Home Depot and it is now hooked up and running. I absolutely LOVE it! I filled the hopper with pellets yesterday around 12:30 and it has hardly used any pellets. I turned it off through the night and back on again this morning. Our home is very well insulated and I have had the setting on 1, which is the lowest setting. If you have been thinking about purchasing a wood stove vs. a pellet stove, I would definitely go with the pellet stove. It is so easy to use and much cleaner than the wood stove. I am seriously thinking about putting one in the family room within the next few years to replace our woodstove. We'll see how the wood supply holds out ;) I still need to find a more appropriate hearth pad, but using this one for now. I would prefer a corner hearth pad and a darker color. Enjoy your day and be blessed!

we have a wood stove and love ours...thought about the pellet stove cause they are cleaner.but when the power goes out you are with out heat unless you plug into a generator..we turned our woodstove on an angle and now we love it so much better..looks like a focal point in the room only did this about a year ago and wished we had done it when we first got it...it was easy...have a great day and enjoy your fire...I love em...haven't had one in 3 days..but I am thinking tonight we will as it is a big chillier today...I love em!!! wouldn't live without one...:)

You can buy a battery backup for them. We have a woodstove in the basement that we love because it heats the whole house. We got the pellet stove as an added source of heat, but it heats the entire upstairs and then some... I'll have to find the website where I found the battery backup and post it. Thank you for stopping by ladies :) xox

Oh Carla, you are going to just love your pellet stove!! Especially when it shows how much your heating bill has lowered!
I can see you putting a charming vintage kettle on it filled with lucious smelling potpourri to slowly steam!!
Hope all has been good for you. Your flower gardens are just heavenly...as usual! :)

Happy Easter to you and your family sweetness. Big Hugs...Lex

Hi Lex!! Thank you so much... I do love it ~ Everything about it... easy to clean, easy to fill, and the warm glow that it always has. I ALMOST wish fall was here so I could use it everyday :) It doesn't get hot enough for a pot to simmer. You can touch the top without getting burned. I do have my tart warmer going though :) It's always nice to hear from you dear friend ~ Much love, Carla
