More Snow...

School was on time today and we were shocked, until we drove to the bus stop and sw the roads were clear. We got about 3" of snow last night. It was so pretty falling in the light that it almost looked fake. I took that picture from our back porch this morning and the one of the front yard.

After the sun started shining, I grabbed my camera again...

The best snows for us come in February and March. The orginal forecast for our 3" was 1 foot, but we'll take the few inches as it is better than none and so good for our wells. This is the best kind of snow... pretty to look at and the roads are heated enough and still treated that the snow melts off of them.

Gorgeous pics, Carla. Country Life sure does have its perks, doesn't it?

Hi Mary :) Yes, it certainly does! Paige and I just went outside and shoveled the driveway. The snow is packed from the tire tracks, however, we got most of the snow off so the rest will hopefully melt off. Hubby drove off into the yard this morning. Our driveway goes from 2 car width to one down to the road and I put the orange posts he got for Taylor at the edge of the yard for him to see when he gets home LOL!! xox

Don't you love living in the country especially times like this...it is so unspoiled by people and traffic.

Carla you got more than us. We only got a dusting. Most of our snow and ice is melted. I'm so glad we didn't get what they called for. This weekend its supposed to be in the 50's. A heat wave. LOL

The pictures are pretty.

Such a pretty snowfall and pictures. I love when the snow falls gracefully and kisses mother earth with a new blanket.

So pretty, so white and sparkly.

Have a wonderful weekend, Carla.

Hugs,
~Tonya

Your pictures are beautiful, it looks a lot like the weather we have been having here at our farm. Your crafts look perfectly prim, especially the flowers from your last post. :) I would like to extend a warm welcome to you to come by and visit my new prim blog at Farm Wife Primitives. It was just created last week and am looking forward to sharing ideas, pictures and projects with other prim lovers out there in blogland. :) It would be my honor to have you as one of my followers if you so choose.
