Remember this? It is my folk art doll that I started making this past summer... I made six bodies on our way to Ocean City, Maryland this past summer. I am trying to finish them up this weekend to list on Sunday evening... I have their candle bags finished and 3 have clothes on :) They still need "hair"... I will list them on auction on eBay and then in my eBay store if they don't sell on auction.

On the banks of the Conococheague
Our last camping trip was so fun! We had just missed a civil war reenactment, but there were a few still camping and taking advantage of the beautiful campsite in Hagerstown, Maryland. This tent was directly across from us. They have been doing civil war reeactments for 19 years.

This is one of the two cannons that they had with them. They came over at dusk and asked if we minded if they shot them off. We told them we had been waiting to see if they would and they invited us to be closer to them.

This is their other cannon. They were loud, of course, and everyone enjoyed being there and sharing the moment...

The owner is a primitive fan and her gardens were simply gorgeous...
