Make sure you cut your strips for your ragballs about 1/2" and wrap like you are making a yarn ball. I handstitch the edge of the finished strip onto the ball. I brush on coffee and vanilla mix to give it that old time primitive look and spray with room spray.

Love your gingham hearts and tulips too! I made some sunflowers like that a few months ago and couldn't keep them on the shelves! Great work!

Thank you Nicole... My daughter drew the tulip head and I made it a bit bigger, but the drawing wasn't curved like the flower head came out... I redrew another with the petals out like a parrot tulip and need to get to work on making more. The first practice one looks cute, a bit smaller and curved outward. My other daughter, the critic, said they looked like pitch forks ROFL!! Yours, I'm sure were much prettier :) xox
Hi Renee :) Yes, our weather is much milder than yours and I am thankful for that. We get just enough snow and today we are getting rain. It feels about 60 outside now. I am very excited about getting out and cleaning off the oak leaves off of the beds and uncover sprouting daffodils!! xox
Those are ALL ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! I just loved looking at them and I'll admit it, drooling over them as well. :) I absolutely love your blog. :) Such talent I tell you!!!
