Snow and Ice Have Paralyzed Us...
The snow and ice that we received and are in the process of getting is a mess. We have about an inch of sleet on top of the snow and we aren't going anywhere tomorrow. There is no school here again tomorrow. I am glad... better safe than sorry.
The roads in Texas were very icey today with a lot of accidents, some being fatal. I think they should cancel school here too, but I don't think they are going to.
Hey sweet tart----so nice to see you popped in the other day---this has been quite the winter heh? I am so happy though that we are on the downhill slide and that soon---very soon---we will be looking at Tulips pushing through the frozen ground----I can hardly WAIT!
We, here in Maine are about to be snowed in any moment. Glad I have nowhere but here to be. I can just sit by the fire and type, or sew, or what ever... Keep warm and be safe.
Wow, Texas got ice? Sorry to here about the fatalities. I got up at 6:15 this am and turned on the news and they said there were accidents everywhere.
Thank you Sarah :)
Renee, I feel bad about complaining when you live in such a snowy, icy, FRIGID area! If I had wings, I'd be in the south for sure :) I agree... I keep thinking "spring" and look at my flower pics over and over... can't wait to see them popping up and the robins on the green grass...
Morgan, I saw on the weather channel that you all are getting much more than we are... enjoy your day snowed in and have a cup of hot chocolate :)
Make sure you cut your strips for your ragballs about 1/2" and wrap like you are making a yarn ball. I handstitch the edge of the finished strip onto the ball. I brush on coffee and vanilla mix to give it that old time primitive look and spray with room spray.
