Make sure you cut your strips for your ragballs about 1/2" and wrap like you are making a yarn ball. I handstitch the edge of the finished strip onto the ball. I brush on coffee and vanilla mix to give it that old time primitive look and spray with room spray.

I had a wonderful day with my family ~ We decided to stay home and grill out... I received homemade cards and store bought cards, garden gloves and chocolate cupcakes :) We watched Survivor and were shocked that Amanda did not win. Earlier today, we watched a CSI marathon. It rained here all day long, very heavy at times. We were able to get our vegetable plants planted before it started raining too hard. The rain was cold, but we were happy to get the garden started and planted under sprinkles. I received my favorite annuals that I planted yesterday. I enjoy planting begonias around the outside edge of the sidewalk and I have a few pots that I planted annuals in as well. I hope your Mother's Day was special, too! :)
